Going Vegan in Culver City

Going Vegan in Culver City

These days, vegan food is utterly delicious (plate full of Mung beans anyone? Didn’t think so) and, of course, is healthy. Here in Culver City we’re blessed with so many amazing restaurants – but where are the best Vegan restaurants? The best leaf vegan, raw vegan, or even vegan Indian places? We’ve got you covered…

Let’s start with Stuff I Eat – a Fresh, Natural and 95% organic. They have been perfecting home cooked vegan cuisine for over 15 years in an effort to share health through food – and are firm believers that the food you choose to eat is directly related to your well being. Their menu is designed as a “transitional menu” for those seeking to transition from an animal-based diet to a plant-based diet

Next up is Sage at 4130 Sepulveda. We’d already been to the location in Echo Park so knew how amazing it is but the Culver City location is three times the size.  With 25 beers and wines on tap, a full organic bar and a wood fire pizza oven, Sage will win you over with your first bite. This place is perfect they offer a complete vegan dining experience from starters to desserts in a hip yet laid back vibe and the dessert selection is unbelievable.

If you like Indian food then head over to the Samosa House and Bharat Bazaar. Samosa House has served gourmet Indian Vegetarian and Vegan food at affordable prices to the Southern California community since 1979. They also have a market and at more than 8500 sq ft, Samosa House West is one of the largest Indian Grocery Stores, serving everything you need for a traditional Indian kitchen.

Finally, as our list of the best vegan restaurants in Culver City comes to a close, let us recommend Flower Child. Locals love that you can get bowls and just choose whatever you want, from grilled tofu to steamed broccoli with parmesan, delicious hummus…the list is endless. They are willing to substitute things and work with  you to come up with unique and delicious combinations. It’s also a great place to bring your laptop and work, as they have tons of seating upstairs!

There are SO many places to enjoy healthy and delicious food! We hope you visit one of the listed places and see for yourself which you think is the best vegan restaurant in Culver City!
